Elizabeth Stewart, Mintlaw, combines remarkable musicianship
on piano with direct, emotionally powerful singing style.
She comes from a musical pedigree second to none. Her mother,
Jean Stewart, was a well-known North East bandleader and broadcasting
pioneer; her aunt, the legendary Lucy Stewart, possessed a
clear, unaffected singing style.
Listen to Elizabeth sing a verse of 'The Gallant Forty-Twa'
(NEFA 1994.031.01).
