T: Reminiscences of Gavin Greig
S: [Cont. from previous tape.] JW's grandmother remembered GG
going to Edinburgh to hear Edvard Grieg. Grieg's relatives used
to come across from Bergen to Fraserburgh twice a year, just to
attend communion. Grandmother told him about the first performance
of Mains' Wooin in New Deer Hall. GG had nine kids too. Describes
how GG would collect songs, often by bike. GG had understanding
for dialect.
